Fotodreams 10 jaar!

FOTODREAMS 10 JAAR (april 2004 – april 2014)

Het aanzien van 2004: de olympische spelen in Athene, Boris wint Idols, Google gaat naar de beurs, maar ook: de oprichting van FOTODREAMS!

In april 2014 bestaat FOTODREAMS 10 jaar!

Vanaf het moment dat ik als tienjarig meisje met de camera van mijn vader plaatjes schoot, raakte ik verslingerd aan fotografie omdat je op die manier magische momenten kan vastleggen.

Observeren en interpreteren om de juiste artistieke en fotografische scènes vast te leggen, dat staat centraal tijdens mijn fotoshoots! Het is de voortdurende zoektocht en de diversiteit aan mensen die het fotograferen zo ontzettend interessant en uitdagend maakt.

Na een aantal jaren samengewerkt te hebben met en voor andere fotografen besloot ik in 2004 mijn eigen bedrijf op te richten. Een goede naam was niet zomaar gevonden. Op een dag in maart 2004 brachten Hans en ik een bezoekje aan het Van Abbemuseum in Eindhoven. Om even op verhaal te komen dronken we een cappuccino in het restaurant. Mijn kopje droeg de naam DREAMS en ineens was daar het idee: ik ga verder onder de naam FOTODREAMS.

In dit jubileumjaar ben ik aan het brainstormen over acties en ideeën om het jubileum extra onder de aandacht te brengen bij familie, vrienden en al die personen die één of meerdere malen voor mijn camera verschenen. Wat heb ik er van genoten.

Wordt vervolgd in dit jubileum jaar.

Believe in pink
Believe laughing is the best calorie burner
Believe in kissing, kissing a lot
Believe in being strong when everthing seems to be going wrong
Believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls
Believe that tomorrow is another day and believe in miracles
Be less curious about people and more about idea’s
If there’s a book you really want to read,
But hasn’t been written yet,
Then you must write it.

Never interrupt someone doing what you said couldn't be done.
